Will Zeng is an artist with a background in painting and drawing. His practice is a personal mediation of intimate, tenderness, and meaning. His practice is currently learning to rediscover and recultivate means, through body and humor, to create insistent looking towards soft moments of inbetween.
Zeng earned his Bachelor of Arts in Studio Practice from the University of California of Davis and Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He has since worked for various art organizations in San Francisco including Root Division, the DeYoung, and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Zeng has shown work in San Francisco and Chicago. He is currently living in Eugene, Oregon working towards a Master of Fine Arts degree at University of Oregon.
