Will Zeng (b. 1996, San Francisco) uses painting, performance, and object-making to explore subjectivity through the intersection of Asian American and masculine identities. Zeng engages contradictions in desire, representation, and intimacy. His work currently explores Asian American car culture as a lens to examine taste and the opportunities presented by the failure of the Asian American masculine subject.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Studio Practice from the University of California of Davis, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Master of Fine Arts from University of Oregon. Zeng has been the recipient of the Hung Liu Trillium Award. He is a member of Q[Ch]Asm, an arts and research collective centered around queer Asian American digital diasporas. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
